In this season of the ‘More Than Sunday’ podcast, we're partnering with Austin Street Center to better understand homelessness, advocacy, and empowerment. Hosts Rohini Drake, Director of Online Ministry at First United Methodist Church Richardson, and Daniel Roby, CEO of Austin Street Center, are joined by a new guest each week. In this episode, we sit down with Dustin Perkins, the Senior Director of Client Solutions & Strategy at Austin Street Center, who has been actively involved in social services since 2004 and in Dallas’ homeless services system for a decade. Please join us for this conversation as we discuss some myths of homelessness and in order to better understand how we can be a part of truly ending homelessness.
