This week’s Flashback Episode is one that was insanely heavy. This episode is still ranked at the top of the charts and continues to inspire so many. Kim went through a very difficult season with the loss of her husband, and her perspective and view on everything is absolutely remarkable. This is not a happy go-lucky episode, but it is one that truly made an impact for so many. Enjoy the show. :)

Recap from the original show notes:

What would you do if you received the call that your spouse was just diagnosed with Cancer? How do you think you would respond? Would you find reasons to play the victim, blame others, or would you give all the praise to your God and creator? Experiencing the loss of a spouse is something nobody wants to go through, especially when you’re only 37. In today’s episode, Erica Pasvar talks with Kim Rauscher who tragically lost her husband to Cancer at a very young age, leaving behind 4 beautiful children. Kim’s response during this tragedy is something to note and revere. Her faith helped her get through the most excruciating months watching her husband slowly die and also is the anchor that keeps her going each day since his passing. No matter your situation, this episode will both draw out heartbreak while providing encouragement in the midst of grief.
