The Morning Footy crew take a look at everything surrounding Brazil and their Men's National Team at the moment as they head into Copa América including the media controversy current unfolding. Nico walks everyone through what's happening. It all began was Yan Couto was asked to change his pink hair as it was claimed to be "to extravagant" by the Rodrigo Caetano and head coach Dorival Júnior. When news of this came out, the National Team put out a statement defending the request stating that they "want to prioritize good football first." This is the opposite of what Brazilian football has been in the past having supported self-expression. There were also reports about additional limitations and rules imposed on the current players including no headphones coming on the pitch and no jokes on social media. The group discuss what's going on in Brazil and how this might have a ripple effect heading into the tournament.
