In this episode, Morris Sussex Sports had the privilege of interviewing long time Daily Record sports writer Joe Hofmann. Joe recounts his fascinating career covering all the great Morris-Sussex athletes as he spent most of his career focusing on football, wrestling and baseball. He talks about all of the great coaches like John Bauer senior and junior of Randolph, Doug Wilkins of Mountain Lakes, Phil Longo of Par Hills and many many more. He also recalls all of the great athletes that competed in those three sports throughout the years. It's fascinating to hear him talk about all of the relationships he forged with all of the great former athletes and coaches. And there are literally thousands of former high school athletes that have his news clippings in their scrapbooks. We thought we'd flip it and actually interview him for once. This is one podcast interview you cannot miss.
