Born in Beaufort, SC, Evie was then raised in New York and New Jersey. After her diagnosis with Lupus she continued to work with children until her illness worsened in 2000, so she traveled back to her hometown and began writing.Today Evie T.’s doing well and mentors women whenever the opportunity arises. She also volunteers at her church where she’s been a member for the past fourteen years. Evie T. has been the church’s youth mime team coach, choir director and praise and worship team leader for more than twelve years. Author, Evie T. McDuff her book is set to launch on Thursday, November 19th. This novel explores the life of a young woman name Alice who in the wake of her mother’s passing inherits a wooden box that holds painful stories of her ancestors. Alice is left with a choice to either suffer or see the light.
