TEHRAN VON GHASRI is a comedian, tv personality, actor, host, writer, and social activist. A Washington DC native, Tehran was born to an Iranian father and African-American mother with Zoroastrian, Muslim, Baptist, and Jewish grandparents making his comedy as international culturally diverse as they come. Armed with double undergrad degrees in Politics and Communications, a Masters in Economics, and a Law Degree, Tehran combines his education with real life experience, unique perspective, and universal charm to bring comedy, social commentary, and activism alive on stage. A mix of Dave Chapelle meets Maz Jobrani, as seen on Comedy Central, HBO, Tehran can be seen hosting his own show every Monday/Thursday 945pm at the World Famous Laugh Factory, on his iTunes and Comedy Store podcast Imperfect Gentlemen every Wednesday, or on Back to School w/ Maz Jobrani on All Things Comedy.
