He provided an update on the current situation in Kharkiv, shedding light on several critical issues facing the city amid ongoing attacks.
Lyhanenko detailed the frequency and intensity of attacks on Kharkiv, noting a significant increase in recent weeks. The city has been subjected to relentless shelling and missile strikes. The attacks have been particularly severe, with certain days experiencing multiple waves of bombardment.
He emphasized that the attacks have specifically targeted critical infrastructure, including power supplies and residential areas. Power plants, substations, and other energy infrastructure have been repeatedly hit, resulting in widespread and prolonged power outages.
In response to these challenges, the Kharkiv Military Administration has been working tirelessly to ensure the safety and well-being of the city's residents. Lyhanenko highlighted several measures being taken, including the rapid repair of damaged infrastructure, the establishment of temporary shelters, and the distribution of emergency supplies.
