A __SEEKING SAVIOR.
“Behold I stand at the door and knock” (Rev. 3:20a KJV).
- Jesus is the shepherd in search of one lost sheep .
“A man had one hundred sheep. Ninety-nine were safe in the sheep fold but one was lost. The shepherd left the ninety-nine in the fold to search diligently until he found the one missing sheep and brought him safely home” (Luke 15:4).
- Jesus is the woman sweeping her floor looking for one lost coin .
“Nine coins were safely tucked away in her purse. One coin slipped out and was lost on the floor. By candle light she searched for the missing coin on hands and knees until she found it” (Luke 15:8).
- Jesus is the Father waiting for a prodigal son to come home.
“He had two sons but one was missing. He paced the floor and prayed always ready to open a door of invitation for the missing son to be found and come home” (Luke 15:11).
A SPEAKING SAVIOR.
