Why Am I Here?

Acts 10

TO BUILD _RELATIONSHIPS FROM WHICH TO MINISTER TOGETHER.

(Acts 10:17-18, 23, 27 NIV.)

TO PROCLAIM THE _GOSPEL_ OF JESUS CHRIST. (Acts 10:33)

Someone has said, “Preaching is to comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable.”

But, the enjoyable part of proclaiming the truth of God’s Word is not to disturb people but to help people discover what

God has made them to be, helping them establish a _growing_, enriching _relationship_ with Jesus Christ, and preach

to empower believers for meaningful ministry in the church and as a witness to the world around them. A changed life,

not comfortable people, is the goal of preaching!

TO ENGAGE IN THE MINISTRY OF _EQUIPPING_.

(Acts 10:47-48)

“…he gave some to be…pastors and teachers to prepare God’s people for works of service…so that the body of Christ

may be built up” (Eph. 4:11b-12).

TO LEAD IN HAVING A _VISION_ FOR THE PRESENT AND FUTURE.

Now, what about the future? I am optimistic! I believe in you! I believe you want to grow as a Christian! I believe you

want His Church to reach its full mission in this community and around the world.

Sunday School begins at 10:00am EST with Morning Worship beginning at 11:00am EST. Evening Worship begins at 6:00pm EST

Wednesday Prayer Meeting begins at 7:00pm EST
