Welcome everyone! A little shopkeeping before we start. Well, spring is here and already a few of my local farrier friends have been injured. Seems to be a thing every year, and it just reminds me to remind the folks that are listening from Great Britain that you have a foundation that is set up just for this purpose, a built-in insurance policy created by your fellow farriers. The Farriers Foundation steps in and offers financial aid for those times when you're too injured to work and helps cover your expenses while you heal. The Spring is a busy time for farriers worldwide, and it is a great time when you're flush with cash to put a little aside to help out your fellow farriers in need.

Back home as usual, several farriers stepped up for the folks that were injured here and did the horses so that they could keep them on their books and keep a roof over their heads and food on the table. I must say it's an honour to be part of such a good group of folks in my community here.

Now for today's guest, as you'll hear in the conversation I first met Kenny Hoyle at Heartland Horseshoeing School, and I didn't realize it at the time, but he was just beginning his certification journey. As you will hear, it's never too late to start that. Kenny is one of the kindest human beings you'll ever come across, and as you will hear, he has put a lot back into the industry as a tester and as a board member of the AFA.

It is always great to cross paths with this gentleman as I did in Arkansas at Convention. I was very fortunate to be able to pin him down this time and do an interview. I hope you enjoy this conversation as much as I did.
