Join Chelsea and David as they catch up with Darumbal & South Sea Islander researcher, writer, educator and journalist Dr. Amy McQuire. Together, they talk through Amy’s career working in Aboriginal and independent media, and the lessons she’s learned about the importance of a Black Justice Journalism that is committed to challenging the ongoing violence of colonisation head on.

Chelsea & David dig into Amy’s history with Triple A Murri Country, including her stint as host of the flagship program Let’s Talk, her relationship to Indigenous and independent media, her more recent work as a PhD researcher and now Postdoctoral Fellow at the Queensland University of Technology. Dr. McQuire introduces us to the central concerns and commitments of her soon-to-be-released first non-fiction book, Black Witness, and the importance of honouring and amplifying the long history of truth-telling by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
