We're back to reading books and sharing with you people who we find inspiring. This week, Chanty presents an episode about Barbara Barnes Sims after reading her amazing book about her time working at Sun Records.

Barbara was am employee at Sun Records from 1957-1960, just after Elvis had left, and while Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Roy Orbison were getting their start. Barbara worked in sales, promotion and publicity. While there, she developed a close friendship with Sam Phillips and came to be a part of the Sun Records family.

Join us as we discuss this special time in Memphis, Tennessee, and honour a woman who learned the ins and outs of the music business, shared memories with amazing musicians, and most importantly found herself.
