Patrice K. Cokley is an artist manager, brand strategist, marketing consultant and college professor. She owns The Bassline Group, a talent management company where she develops and manages the careers of music creatives and professionals. She holds both a BA and MBA in Marketing, teaches Music Business & Marketing at SAE Institute Chicago, and is a brand ambassador for Lugz footwear. She is also the Product & Education Specialist for TuneRegistry, a music rights administration platform, and is in the process of starting a small record label with 2 business partners.
In her spare time, Patrice is educating and encouraging others to pursue their dreams through her video series, written blogs, speaking engagements, and one-on-one consultations.
Patrice and I spoke about music marketing, the mistakes most artists make when getting started, and the value of knowing your worth. We also spoke about TuneRegistry and the great value it provides for artists.
