John Mlynczak, President and CEO of NAMM since February 2023, brings extensive experience in music education and technology. Formerly VP of Music Education & Technology at Hal Leonard, he has also held key roles at Noteflight and PreSonus Audio. John is a passionate advocate for music education, having served as President of TIME and taught at VanderCook College. With degrees from Virginia Commonwealth University and Louisiana State University, he has significantly contributed to music education and advocacy. The National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM), is a not-for-profit organization that champions the joys and benefits of making music while supporting the $17 billion global music products industry.
