On today’s podcast, we welcome aboard Jonah Wakefield of Orono, ME based alt-indie trio Milk Street. Jonah comes on to talk about the origins of the group, what life was like growing up in Maine, how he met the other members, how he would describe his unique blend of music to those who aren’t familiar with him and how the group stumbled upon their unclassifiable blend of tunes in the first place, the music that inspired him growing up and set him on the path, his creative process and how the fellas put their ideas to paper, he also talks about the Mid East Upstairs show that the guys played a few months ago and how rad that was for the group, his experiences recording the band’s latest LP “Vermont” and what it was like to put it all together, plus he lets us in on what he likes to do for fun away from playing and making music.
