Hello hello! Recorded in the height of my sickness, the message of this episode is quite simple: take care of yourself!
It's easy to seek the valor in making music, whether it's braving horrific road conditions to make it to a gig or fighting through a stomach bug to get that recording finished. And honestly...that's pretty dumb. It's going to be hard to make music if you die in a car crash or humiliate yourself so violenty and publicly by NOT staying close to a toilet that you never even want to think about making music again.
The most important thing is that you and everyone else in the music scene is safe in health, personal security, and mental state. Music will be there for you afterwards. Please do not put yourself at serious risk because "the show must go on". Your show cannot go on if you turn yourself into a martyr.
