Hello folks.

Today Rod looks at the dire economic issues facing Dickenson County in Southwest Virginia, as well as in Southside Virginia.

Then we look at some solutions that have been proposed, including a ten year tax "holiday" for the coalfields that is the brainchild of a Virginia state representative. We also talk about the possibility of a sort of "Marshall Plan" for Appalachia, similar to the one that revived Europe after World War II.
