Douglass McCuiston is an administrator and teacher for Indian Creek School. As the Dean of 11th and 12th grades and the Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) he brings over 25 years of experience to nurture and develop our nation’s future leaders. In response to the social injustice challenges and concerning political climate, Douglass has redesigned and instructs the Race and Racism course for the upper school. He also leads a team of seven faculty volunteers to support DEI initiatives which bring greater awareness of diverse cultures and practices within the community. Douglass earned a BA in History with a concentration in African American Studies from Morehouse College and an Executive Certificate in Strategic Diversity and Inclusion Management from Georgetown University. In his spare time, Douglass enjoys IT projects, cycling, playing the guitar and spending time with his three teenage children.
