James Pike is a fun loving teacher from California who has blending Minecraft, coding, and makerspaces across curriculum for 6 years. He is students have historical movies, created video games out of cells, and turned their classroom in to a full on cardboard box arcade. Currently, James is working with Minecraft Education Edition on curriculum for the Common Core math.

Neal Manegold is Director of Learning Programs at Minecraft Education, focused on materials to support school leaders and educators bringing games to their classroom. This includes professional development, curriculum, feature design, and ensuring Education Edition is built to support classrooms around the globe. He previously worked at an educational technology start-up focused on personalized math instruction. Neal worked as an Educator and Math Coordinator in California and Washington State, and is a National Board Certified Teacher. Neal grew up in Los Angeles and lives outside Seattle with his wife and two children, both of whom teach him something new about Minecraft every day.
