Between the events of January 6th, 2021 and January 24th,2021 my life has not been much different except it has been a tad bit different watching the entire world get PTS and go into shock in 3 weeks. We advocates are doing our best on the outside where you can see, and I have spoken to a few lawmakers that feel this way too—we need to do better. We need more accountability and transparency and fact checking. Our money is going to the wrong people. Our resources are. And our survivor consultants are still being looked at in some arenas as (well I won’t say those words here). Now I speak my heart.
