包氏三兄弟的包偉銘和包小松包小柏，因為出道時間差不多，發展路線也都是走當時年輕人喜好的動感舞曲，所以能讓觀眾更清楚他們是一家人。1986年包偉銘把國中剛畢業的弟弟包小松與包小柏拉進演藝圈，但是讓包偉銘在歌壇成名的金聲唱片，卻不肯跟他兩個弟弟簽約。為了挺弟弟，包偉銘不惜與金聲唱片公司鬧翻，並且提前解約，跟他兩個弟弟進入麗歌唱片。可惜的是包小松與包小柏因兵役關係，歌壇之路走得不順，連包偉銘也受了影響，從歌手轉型成了主持人。2個弟弟後來也都改走幕後，成為音樂製作人。
