The numbers tell the story. In our landmark research with the National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED) we set out to understand the current relationship between distributors and manufacturers and ultimately to define the new manufacturer – distributor partnership in an age of rapid innovation and digital information.
NAED members overwhelming agree (91%) that there is a need for manufacturers and distributors to reimagine how they can work better and more collaboratively together to develop richer value propositions for the markets, businesses, and individuals they serve.
The need to reimagine these partnerships is equally evident for both NAED distributors and manufacturers. 87% of distributors and 94% of manufacturers see the need to reimagine partnerships.
In this episode Dirk explains the story that the numbers tell … and that is that partnerships need to be reimagined.
