RAGS TO RICHES STORY OF: Dave Ramsey

Jayson mentions how one of Dave Ramsey’s books helped him get out of $35k of debt in 2 years and 8 months, but it would’ve been easier if he had a debt-free consultant guiding him through the process and answering his questions.

The reason for Jayson Narag, Debt-Free Consulting.

Jayson describes in detail the rags to riches story of Dave Ramsey, the first time around and the second time.

His net worth today is roughly $55 million.

Dave Ramsey has his critics of the Debt Snowball method of paying off the lowest amount first regardless of the interest rate the amount of interest he tells his listeners to use to plan for retirement.

RICH HABIT

Creating multiple streams of income.

Dave Ramsey has at least five streams of income.

POOR HABIT

Living beyond their means.

Tom Corley says, “Eighty-eight percent had more than $5000 in credit card debt.”

That’s why I’m going into the debt-free consulting business.

People think they know how to handle money, but they don’t. The thing with this poor habit is it starts in the mind. If you don’t think you need help, you’re not going to change even if the smartest person on the planet told you you’re handling money wrong.
