Monday morning live with Natasa Denman featuring one of her amazing authors, Jodie Lyn Brown.

Jodie holds a Bachelor of Social Work, has four young adult children, lives and works in the Gympie region of Queensland, Australia, and is a volunteer for Share the Dignity, an organization that works to end period poverty in Australia.

Jodie recently published her book, ‘Not Just Your Period’, a comprehensive guide that empowers women by helping them understand and embrace their menstrual cycles, advocate for menstrual equity, and connect deeply with their bodies, fostering self-awareness and well-being. On its launch day, the book achieved Amazon Bestseller status.

Jodie loves to see girls and women thrive, with a freedom to love and cherish their bodies, to connect with others and to speak openly about menstrual experiences, contributing to smashing shame and stigma that still pervades society today.

3 key take aways:

• Knowledge and understanding is key

• Connection is not only encouraged, but essential

• Equity issues and period poverty is everyone’s business
