Monday morning live with Natasa Denman featuring one of her amazing authors, Jacinta Dumas. Jacinta is a single mum of two beautiful children, who are passionate about everything sports. Early on she realised that there was something not sitting right with her son's behaviour despite constantly being told that he was just being a boy, and that he was perfectly normal.

In the 2020 first round of covid, Jacinta's world came crashing down when while homeschooling many behaviors came to light. This was the start of a very hard road of diagnosis and the realisation that her gut instinct was right and the battle for the love of her son began.

Through her experience, Jacinta authored the book Trust Your Gut and That Crushing Feeling. She has extensive life experience in dealing with those with additional needs, not only through choosing to work with our special and unique members of families and the families as a unit, to assist them in being the best they can be. Jacinta has lived and travelled the road of discovering that your child has a disability and what needs to be done to get a diagnosis. She has done extensive training and study to complement her life experience, including a Diploma in Counselling, Community Services and Certificate as a Teacher’s Aid. Whether it be behavioral, physical or mental, she strives to find ways to help individual and families see that being different can be a blessing. Key Takeaways: 1. trust your gut, fight for what you believe 2. you are never alone, find your village 3. self-care, and you will achieve the world Learn more about Jacinta and her book here: www.jacintadumas.com.au Find us at http://www.writeabook.com.au Join our Facebook Community: Author Your Way to Riches: https://www.facebook.com/groups/authoryourwaytoriches Subscribe to my YouTube Channel: http://bit.ly/NatasaDenmanYouTube
