On this week’s Real Life Podcast, the boys spend the hour looking at the trade deadline and the total lack of moves that came out of Edmonton, as well as the Oscars, Connor McDavid's suspension, and a whole lot more.

With a few pending UFAs on the roster and a couple of pieces that likely drew some interest, we start this week by asking ourselves of whether or not the Oilers did enough to set themselves up for the upcoming Draft and offseason? Will the decision to hang on to their pending UFAs come back to haunt them? All we can do is wait and see. Fortunately, the trade deadline wasn't the only thing to talk as Chalmers dropped a wild story that he almost hit Connor McDavid with his truck at the autograph signing from a couple weeks back. Needless to say, the boys get into it over the close call. As exciting as that close encounter with McDavid must have been, it was nothing compared to the celebrity run-in that Wanye had at Rogers Place this past weekend. Trust us when we say that you will not believe who he spent his night with. From there, things got heated when last night's Oscars came up and Chalmers dropped a scorching hot take that Lady Gaga is a terrible singer. Is it turns out, the other three boys on the show did NOT agree with this assessment and vehemently defended her honour.
