There were no purpose pitches or even unintentional HBPs in the Washington Nationals' second game of three with the San Francisco Giants in AT&T Park, instead the Nats beat the Giants, 6-3, to win the series before the finale tomorrow night. Gio Gonzalez put together a solid start and the Nationals' hitters knocked Jeff Samardzija out early and cruised to a relatively drama-free victory. Max Scherzer is up next in the third of three with the Giants. Nationals now 32-19.
