In the sixth episode of the Weather Ready Farms podcast Bridgette Mason, an Illinois native and now the Assistant State Climatologist for Wisconsin, joins to talk about how her fear of severe thunderstorms as a little kid (including saying storms brought potatoes!) led to her wanting to study atmospheric sciences as an adult. Then we delve into her favorite tools for helping the agricultural sector use weather and climate information to make informed decisions for their operation.
