The Patriots held their first practice of the postseason on Wednesday, with Devin McCourty one of three players not in attendance. McCourty left Sunday's win over the Jets early with a head injury, and was not spotted at practice or in the locker room for media availability. The other players absent were Dwayne Allen and James Develin. For Develin, his attention was required elsewhere, as his wife gave birth to the couples third child.
