By Newsbreak Producer Matthew Veeran - A young architectural team from Durban have been named the winners of the Nandos Hot Young Designer Talent Search 2022. Nikhil and his partner Nindya are the owners of "Kalki Ceramics" - which is an up-and-coming design studio specialising in bespoke handcrafted ceramic tiles. For their winning entry, the vibrant couple looked to South African landscapes for inspiration and eventually came up with a stunning design centred around the cactus plant. Nikhil says the "Cactus Server" as the piece is known, blends contemporary form with organic, tactile materials to create a uniquely South African design...
