The officially registered home, spearheaded by the Phoenix Child & Family Welfare Society and sponsored by the Sibaya Community Trust, will provide accommodation and support for about 20 children at the start. President of the Phoenix Child Welfare, Sharm Maharaj, says attached to the home is a baby safe, where unwanted babies can be placed instead of being abandoned in bins and in dumps...
