Join our reporter Tom Howe for NEWSWAVE, your weekly rundown of the top stories happening across St Austell and surrounding areas.

In the latest episode, we join more than 1,200 primary school students at an event organised by anti-racism charity Black Voices Cornwall at The Hall for Cornwall to mark the 76th anniversary of Windrush.

We check in with two of the main attractions at last weekend’s Paradhis Festival at Boconnoc Estate - Andy Blackwell from 7th Rise and Alex Metcalf of The Tree Listening Project.

As well as that, we take a trip to Duchy College Rosewarne to mark the achievements of a number of newly-registered veterinary nurses, during a special celebration day.

If all that wasn’t enough, we look back on another of the events attended by the team at CHAOS Radio this summer - the Falmouth International Sea Shanty Festival - where we meet Falmouth Town Manager Richard Gates and Redruth-based sea shanty group Kessenyan.
