In this, the ninth episode of our awesome sketch comedy podcast, we are finally confident and established enough to welcome a recurring character: The Handyman, who you may remember from the episode specifically named after The Handyman. This episode packs in King Kong and his penchant for slightly over-fussy atriums; ancient Tories encouraging you back to work (politicians so ancient that by the time you hear this they may - heavens! - be encouraging the opposite); the kind of phone conversations you just love to overhear on the 73 bus (again, if buses still exist when you read this); terrifying baking and relaxation tips, and a song so jaunty you’ll want to wear it as a hat. Episode 9 of the Next Level Sketch podcast featured sketches written by James Walsh, Vic Dry, Paul Creasy, Ben Fortescue, Euan Brown, Greg Davies, Roderick Millar, Avalina Kreska and Muireann Kelly. The sketches were also performed by Nadine Bailey, Rebecca Diez, Matthew Lawson and Sarit Wilson Chen. Jingles were written and performed by James Walsh and Avalina Kreska. The theme tune was written by James Walsh and performed by James Walsh and Rebecca Diez. Sound effects from Zapsplat.com, purple-planet.com and Freesound.org.
