Dear Next Step Family, celebrate the birth of Christ with us this Sunday, Dec. 24, at our usual service time, 10 a.m. We'll hear the wonderful story of Simeon, a devout man who had been told by the Holy Spirit that he would not die until he saw the Lord's Messiah with his own eyes. When Joseph and Mary brought the baby Jesus to consecrate him at the temple, Simeon recognized the child and was overcome with joy. Join us as we join in Simeon's thankful prayer of praise. Our speaker will be Devin Wharwood of The Hope Church Network.You can find us at 360 Schermerhorn St. Service begins at 10 a.m. Children 5-12 are invited to come as well--the iGnite Kidz Christmas party starts at 10 a.m! ANNOUNCEMENTS: * Children's Christmas party, Sunday 12/24, 10 a.m. If you chose a hand from the Christmas tree outside the kids' room, please bring your gift! * New Year's Eve service will be Sunday, 12/31, 10 a.m. (no midnight service this year). * In-person Bible study at Next Step Community Church, Fridays at 7 p.m. Starts Jan. 5, led by Robert Lambert.
