This week we return to our popular feature of spotlighting certain tracks from Night Demon's history and taking deep dives into their origins. This time we tackle "Save Me Now," a deep cut and an outlier from the early Night Demon discography as it closes out the Curse of the Damned album. You'll hear about how and by whom the song was written, why the band viewed it as a departure at the time, how it was influenced by the British band Demon's first two albums, and how it kicked off a tradition of unconventional Night Demon album closers. We air demo versions of the song from its humble beginnings to a nearly finished version. And we explain how this song constituted a risk at the time.
