Despite Arabic being the 5th most spoken language in the world, when it comes to language technology, the challenges are more similar to low-resourced languages.
Tarjama, as an LSP, was struggling to find a tool to solve their Arabic translation challenges, so they decided to build their own TMS fit for purpose.
Join Rebecca Jonson, Ph.D., as she discusses the TMS purpose-built for Arabic with an Arabic UI and powered by proprietary Arabic AI to boost the productivity of other translation teams.
About Rebecca: As the Chief Product Officer (CPO) of Tarjama, Dr. Jonsson is leading the Product and AI departments and oversees the overall strategy and vision of Tarjama’s AI-powered platform with its proprietary TMS and NMT engine. Dr. Jonsson is a computational linguist, holding a Ph.D. in Linguistics from the University of Gothenburg, with over 20 years of experience developing language technology, both in academia and in the industry. In her product and research-oriented roles, her focus has always been on leveraging language technology to solve language challenges and build innovative products.
