Let's be honest with each other. A lot of what we call social media today has more to do with static than signal and it seems that it's harder than ever for photographers who are working to "make it" online. Being a great photographer barely takes care of the cover charge to get into the club. Now, you've got a performance charge and don't forget about the two drink minimum. All of this is to say that what some photographers have turned to in order to catch some moments in the limelight don't sound very sustainable in the long run. Some are ok with paying to get in front of large crowds. Others decide to cut their losses altogether and remove themselves from the social media sphere. In Episode 30, we're covering stories about both, so pull up a seat and stay a while. We've also got the smooth stylings of "What's on Your Gear Shelf?" to close out the show. Enjoy!
