When people discuss Hip Hop, you often hear the term "Golden Era". In this episode I provide an alternative take on this concept in Hip Hop. I believe that there was a ten year Golden Era. This Golden Era was from 1988 until 1998. Also, I argue that 1998 was the more impactful year in Hip Hop. In 1998 there weren't just iconic albums, but non New York and West Coast labels and artists changing the genre. I also argue that in Hip Hop that there is no G.O.A.T. (Greatest of All Time).
