When Caroline started it was a new beginning, and he listened to all the stations, but Caroline was his favourite by far. Later he became a singer in a band, then started doing discos when he was 18. In the latest episode of None But The Brave, co-hosts Hal Schwartz and Flynn McLean take an in-depth look at Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band's famed performances at Winterland in December, 1978. The episode starts with a discussion about the first show and how important it was to Hal and Flynn as new fans to hear the widely circulated bootleg. They are then joined by Priscilla Schroeder, who attended the second show on December 16 (and also Roxy '75!). At the end of the episode, Hal and Flynn discuss the impact of having the 1978 radio broadcasts circulate and what might have happened if Bruce instead had released an official live album of the tour.
