On this podcast episode, Juliet introduces emerging British abstract artist Victoria Curling Eriksson. Landscapes dominate Victoria’s paintings and her compositions are minimal with multiple fine layers of oil which develop the depth of colour and emotive modus of her work.
Her paintings relate to simple motifs with polychromatic tones, gently graduating from one colour band to another. Fields and seascapes dominate the painting and the horizontal orientation of the canvas lends itself to the vertical undulating layers of colour and texture.
Follow Victoria Curling Eriksson on Instagram and view her next series of landscape paintings at our Winter Art Pop Up as part of our Hansa Loves Art concept, opening in November.
Both the Nordic Art Agency and Victoria will be exhibiting at the Affordable Art Fair 2021 in Stockholm, from 13th - 17th October, so access your complimentary Private View and Art After Work tickets now online.
