Genesis 9:28-29 After the flood Noah lived 350 years. (29) All the days of Noah were 950 years, and he died. Luke 3:23-38 Similarities Noah & Adam Adam was the head of the human race. Noah was the head of the human race after the Flood. Both are ancestors of all the people in the present world. Both were told to be fruitful and multiply and have dominion over the animals. Adam sinned by eating the forbidden fruit. Noah sinned (drunkenness) by drinking wine made from a fruit. Adam saw his nakedness after sinning. Noah’s sin resulted in nakedness. God gave a covering for Adam’s sin (coats of skins). Noah was provided with a covering for his nakedness by his two sons. God judged Adam’s actions with a curse and promised a Saviour. Noah’s actions resulted in a curse and also promise of a spiritual blessing through Shem.
