A foreign national granted the right to stay in a country for a certain length of time (e.g., with a visa or residency permit), without full citizenship. This may be for study, business or other reasons. – Wikipedia Believers as “temporary residents” – what does this mean? This mean we are not home yet. i.e., this world is not our home. How do YOU view yourself? Do YOU truly view yourself as a “temporary resident” on earth, looking ahead to eternal moment with God? Or are YOU busy “setting up camp” here in this world by pursuing things that won’t last? As “Believers” it is time we sit down and shine light on various aspects of our lives – Home, Work/Career, Relationships, Habits etc. and PRAY to God to reveal to us where we are running after the world instead of him.
