Elections Day just happened in the Philippines and social media is full of... feelings. Some are "good" and some are "bad." In this episode, Mon talks about how we might view and respond to these emotions. He reads from the Bible, particularly the Psalms, to look at some examples of people being open and vulnerable to God with their thoughts and emotions. The hope is that this helps us navigate our way through what is happening today both in our country and within the state of our hearts.

  • Psalm 3 – David is chased by Absalom
  • Psalm 8 – What is man that you are mindful of him?
  • Psalm 10 – Asking God a question / hunger for justice
  • Psalm 139 – God search me / I cannon run from his presence

  • Psalm 23 – Assurance and security
  • Psalm 51 – Failure and forgiveness
  • Psalm 46 – God’s protection
  • Psalm 73 – “Is God really just?”
  • Psalm 22 – Pain
  • Psalm 96 – Sing to the Lord a new song
  • Psalm 119 – God’s word / law
