Letta Mbulu’s song “Not Yet Uhuru” has imbued Uhuru peak (the highest peak in Africa) with the meaning of not only political freedom, but also the pursuit of economic freedom and freedom from poverty. This episode is going to cast light on the issue of single motherhood which according to the Borgen project is a huge problem in SA because it puts severe psychological and financial strain on both mothers and children.
