In this episode Mabel Thandi is in Bray, a town on the border of Dublin and Wicklow, talking to her nephew Ishy and brother JP about how it feels to be black in Dublin.

As a back story they moved to Ireland in 2001, this was in the midst of the economic boom and when seeing a black face was rare. JP was 9 and Ishy 5, and Mabel Thandi was 17 and going through the conscious sister phase so she returned to South Africa.

The rest of the family stayed, surviving the recession in 2008 and the mess that followed and they now call Ireland home. In this episode we explore how it actually feels to be black in Dublin. We chat about the microaggressions and if there are any encounters that left them rattled.

This is the notaboo Black in Dublin edition.
