Dr. Chris Nowinski, co-founder of the Concussion Legacy Foundation, joins us to discuss his journey from professional wrestling to becoming a leading advocate for concussion research and brain health. In this episode, we explore Chris's early life, his wrestling career, and the pivotal moments that led him to focus on the dangers of concussions.

Chris shares personal stories about his own experiences with concussions, including a career-ending injury, and how these experiences fueled his passion for brain health. We delve into his work with the Concussion Legacy Foundation, the establishment of the brain bank at Boston University, and his efforts to educate athletes and the public about brain injuries. Chris also discusses the challenges of changing concussion culture in sports and the ongoing research to diagnose and treat CTE (Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy).

Join us for an insightful conversation about resilience, the impact of concussions, and the importance of brain health initiatives.

Each week, Tim and Troy will sit down with interesting people to have thoughtful conversations. The guests will range from celebrities, athletes, academics, doctors, authors, and more. As Tim battles his ALS diagnosis, nothing is out of bounds and there will be nothing left unsaid.
