尊貴十二世努巴仁波切出生於1942年。是來自密勒日巴尊者的修行聖地拉企雪山的大成就者，更是當今世上，少數精通佛學與閉關實修者。在出生前，就已被第三十四任直貢法王喜威羅卓 (持法和慧) 所認證，是直貢替寺六大活佛府宅的轉世活佛之一，並獲賜法名昆秋丹增貢寶勇登加措，幼年即進入直貢替寺學習儀軌。根據文獻的記載，努巴仁波切的第一世攝政貢保蔣稱是「四臂大黑天」的化身。現任尼泊爾直貢嘎舉仁欽林寺住持。
