• Walt Disney World is making it easier to get into the virtual queue. From Next week the virtual queue will open at 7am, and you won’t have to be in the park for this initial release. However you’ll still need to physically inside the park for the second release at 2pm. They also increased the rides capacity by adding a plexiglass divider On the ride vehicles.

• The majority of large theme parks across Europe have been ordered to close in the next week. Parks in Belgium, Italy, France and Germany. This includes Disneyland Paris resort and Europa Park.

• The Disneyland Resort announced that it will reopen the Buena Vista Street land in Disney California Adventure, starting next month, as a shopping and dining district.

• Knott’s Berry Farm will continue their partial operations with Knott's Taste of Merry Farm, running select dates from November 20 through January 3rd.

• Universal Orlando has run its lagoon show Universal's Cinematic Celebration for the first time since the pandemic closed the parks last March.

• They have also announced their first maze for Halloween Horror Nights 2021, Puppet Theater: Captive Audience, which was due to appear in this years cancelled event.

• Walt Disney World Resort has announced it is refreshing its entrance archways around the resort.

• Comcast have announced that they expect Universal parks to return to profit next year, regardless of an 80% drop in quarterly profits year on year. This is an improvement from the 94% drop in the previous quarter.

• Disney World’s Disney Springs is adding a new donut shop called Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew

• Efteling’s Director Coen Bertens has announced he will step down from his role on February 1, 2021.

• Tokyo Disney announced it had also had an 83% drop in profits, but had seen a 14% increase in spending per guest.
