Do we live in a simulation? There is evidence suggesting it to be true. The theory, first proposed by Swedish philosopher Nick Bostrom in 2003,
has now became incredibly popular reaching the mainstream surface and academia where even the likes of Elon Musk and Neil deGrasse Tyson hypothesise this notion of living in base reality.
Is it the synchronicities that people see with Carl Jung describing it as "Synchronicity is an ever present reality for those who have eyes to see" enough to theorise a simulation? Are movies such as The Matrix, The Adjustment Bureau detailing simulated truths? Or the allegory of Earth being described as "Plato's Cave" by the Greek philosopher Plato?
