On the primary 2017 edition of the Ocean County Politics online radio show, your host Gavin Rozzi was joined in our studios with cohost Matt Cox, who joined the show beginning with Tuesday’s episode.
Cox, a recent graduate of Monmouth University, is the son of former Barnegat Township Committee candidate Bill Cox, who ran as an independent candidate on the “No More RINOS” ticket challenging Republicans Susan McCabe & Frank Caputo.
Cox will regularly appear on the show going forward and will offer his perspective on Ocean County political issues.
The primary 2017 online radio show, which was recorded last night on June 5th and published today on June 6th features 1 hour and 15 minutes worth of our insight and analysis along with commentary regarding state, local and county primary races taking place this year.
In addition to ourselves, we were joined by call-in guests Justin Lamb (R – Toms River) and Sommer Fairl (D – Little Egg Harbor), who answered questions and provided information about their respective campaigns.
We received a substantial amount of reader call-ins to this week’s episode of the show. A total of 6 readers called in and we played some of the calls on air. Most of the reader calls were about the primary elections in Little Egg Harbor and Toms River. To call-in to the next episode, dial (609)-222-4161 and leave a voicemail.
